On the extraordinary session of the Artsakh Republic Central Electoral Commission held on September 24, 2019

     On September 24, 2019 the Central Electoral Commission of the Artsakh Republic convoked an extraordinary session under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Commission Yeghishe Arzoumanyan. The members and the responsible workers of the Central Electoral Commission as well as media representatives attended the meeting.

   Based on the relevant decisions of the Artsakh Republic Government on appointing and holding  a new election to a Community Head in Berkadzor community of Askeran’s region of the Artsakh Republic and financing the expenditures of preparatory work and conduct of the election, in accordance with the requirements of Article 144, the scheduleof the main events  and cost estimate on the organization and conduct of the forthcoming October 20,  2019 election to a Community Head in Berkadzor community were discussed and approved at the meeting.

According to the schedule, the deadline of self-nomination of the candidates or the registration documents by the political parties to Askeran Territorial Electoral Commission has been established from September 25, 2019 to 18.00 of September 29, 2019, and the registration of the candidates will be performed from September 29 to 18.00 of October 1. The period of the pre-election campaign is from October 2 to 24.00 of October 18.

   The schedules of the events and other relevant legal acts and documents based on them will be provided to the concerned bodies and responsible performers.
