The voting in Constituencies No. 2 has been over

The voting in Constituencies No. 2 has been over. At 20.00 of October 7 all the 10 polling stations were closed.

     According to the data received from the Territorial Electoral Commission of Stepanakert of the AR, 4 199 citizens (43,79 % of the voters)have participated in by-elections of the NA in Constituency No. 2 as of 20.00.

     According to Part 1 of Article 72 of the NKR Electoral Code the preliminary voting results of the by-elections to the deputy to the NA under the majoritarian system in Constituency No. 2 will be summarized till 14.00 of October 8 of the current year by the Territorial Electoral Commissions of Stepanakert. Information on it will also be published on CEC website.

     We remind that, according to Point 4 of Paragraph 8 of Article 124 of the NKR Electoral Code the elections to the deputy are considered valid if at least 25 percent of the voters of that constituency have participated in them. And according to Paragraph 2 of the same article the candidate is elected as a deputy whom voted more voters.
