The samples of the ballots have been established

IMG_3832     On September 4, 2015 a regular meeting of the Central Electoral Commission was held under the leadership of the Commission Chairperson Srbuhi  Arzumanyan.

     The samples of the ballots of upcoming September 13, 2015 NKR local elections were discussed and established at the meeting. The ballots of the members to the Council of Elders will be white and the ballots of the candidates to a community head will be pink.

     At the end of the meeting Chairperson of the Central Electoral Commission represented the process of the functions of the main events of the elections provided by the schedule and outlined the future plans.

      Particularly, it was informed, that on September 13, 2015 local elections will be held in 207 communities of the Artsakh Republic, moreover, in 144 communities to the community head, in one of which early elections, in 202 communities to the member of the Council of Elders, in four of which early elections.

     In the regard of submitting an application for withdrawal, the registrations of five members out of 240 candidates to the community head and five out of the 1234 registered members to the Council of Elders for 1040 mandates have been recognized as invalid.

     One candidate to the community head ( Stepanakert urban community)  has been nominated by the Nagorno-Karabakh Communist Party, the other candidates to the community heads and members to the Council of Elders have been nominated in the form of self-nomination.

     125 out of 235 (53, 2 %) candidates to the community head are acting community heads, 11 candidates (4,7 %) are women.

     58 candidates to the community head ( 24, 7 %) are members of “ Free Motherland” party, 25 (10,6 %) are members of Artsakh Democratic Party, 16 (6,8%) are members of “Armenian Revolutionary Federation” party, one is a member of  Nagorno- Karabakh Communist Party, 135 (57,4%) are non partisan.

     252 polling stations have been formed.

      According to the data provided by the NKR Police on September 3, 2015 94 381 voters will have the right to participate in the local elections scheduled for September 13, 2015.
