On the process of by-elections to the National Assembly

Today by-elections to the Artsakh Republic National Assembly are being held in Constituency No. 2.
At 8.00 a.m. all the 10 polling stations operating in that constituency have been opened and the voting has launched.
According to the data given on October 5 of this year by the Artsakh Republic Police 9 589 citizens have the right to voting in that constituency.

According to the data received from the Territorial Electoral Commission of Stepanakert of the Artsakh Republic, 851 voters( 8,87 percent of the voters) have participated in the voting as of 11.00 a.m.
We remind that, according to Point 4 of Paragraph 8 of Article 124 of the NKR Electoral Code the elections to the deputy are considered valid if at least 25 percent of the voters of that constituency have participated in them. And according to Paragraph 2 of the same article the candidate is elected as a deputy whom voted more voters.
