On the process of by-elections to the NA

     Today by-elections to the deputy of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly under the majoritarian system are being held in Constituencies No. 10 and 11.

     At 8.00 a.m. all the 113 polling stations operating in that constituencies have been opened and the voting has launched.
According to the data provided by the AR Police on September 7 of the current year 11 071 citizens in Constituency No. 10 and 9 729 citizens in Constituency No. 11. have the right to participate in the voting.
According to the data received from AR Kashatagh and Mardakert Territorial Electoral Commissions 1 535 citizens (13, 87 % of the voters) have participated in the elections in Constituency No.10 and 1 872 citizens (19,24 % of the voters) in Constituency No.11 as of 11.00 a.m.
We remind that, according to Point 4 of Paragraph 8 of Article 124 of the NKR Electoral Code the elections to the deputy are considered valid if at least 25 percent of the voters of that constituency have participated in them. And according to Paragraph 2 of the same article the candidate is elected as a deputy whom voted more voters.
