On the extraordinary session of the Artsakh Republic Central Electoral Commission held on October 16, 2019

On October 16, 2019, an extraordinary session of the Artsakh Republic Central Electoral Commission took place, which was chaired by the Commission Chairperson Srbuhi Arzumanyan.

   CEC members, CEC responsible officers and mass media representatives attended the session.

  Based on the  N decision N 843 of October 11, 2019 of the Artsakh Republic Government on appointing and holding early  elections  to a Community Head in Kichan community of Martakert’s region and members to the Council of Elders in Van community of Kashatagh’s region of the Artsakh Republic and financing the expenditures of the preparation work and conduct of the elections, in accordance with the requirements of Article 145, the schedules of the main events  and cost estimate on the organization and conduct of the forthcoming November 17, 2019 elections in Kichan community of Martakert’s region and Van community of Kashatagh’s region were discussed and approved at the meeting.

   According to the schedule, the deadline of self-nomination of the candidates or the registration documents by the political parties to the Territorial Electoral Commissions of Martakert and Kashatagh accordingly has been established from October 23, 2019 to 18.00 of October 27, 2019, and the registration of the candidates will be performed from October 27 to 18.00 of October 29. The period of the pre-election campaign is from October 30 to 24.00 of  November 15. 
  The schedules of the events and other relevant legal acts and documents based on them have been provided to the concerned bodies and responsible performers.
