By-elections to the NA are being held in N 6constituency

     Today by-elections to the deputy of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly under the majoritarian system are being held in Hadrout region of the Artsakh Republic (N 6 constituency). 8592 citizens have the right to participate in the voting.

 

     According to the information received from Hadrout Territorial Electoral Commission all the 33 polling stations have opened at 8:00 of December 11 and the voting has launced.

 

     From 12.00 to 21.00 the Central Electoral Commission of the Artsakh Republic will publish data every three hours on the number of the voters participated in the voting till the previous hour based on the data received from Hadrout Territoral Electoral Commission.

 

 

 

     As of 11.00 a.m.  1745 citizens (20, 31, % of the voters) have participated in the by-elections to the deputy of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly under the majoritarian system.

 

   

 

     P.S. We remind that since October 6, 2017 the powers of the deputy of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Ivan Avanesyan elected from the constituency N 6 on May 3, 2015 have been considered terminated   and by the decision of the Central Electoral Commission on October 12 of this year, on December 11, 2017   by-elections to the deputy of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly under the majoritarian system have been appointed in N 6 constituency.

 

 

 

     The elections are considered valid if at least 25 percent of the voters of that constituency have participated in them, and if only one candidate is voted, more than half of the voters shall vote  ‘for’ for the only candidate.
